Hey,

Thanks for all the great work on KCharSelect! I'm still feeling guilty for being the official maintainer when all the cool stuff like incremental search was added by you :]

About vocabulary: I haven't practiced much, but while studying for the SATs I found quizlet.com very useful. It has three separate modes, "familiarize", "learn", and "test". Note: I don't work for them, I promise ;)

It would be great if articles could be set up not just for male and female but for starting letter. In Italian, for instance, a masculine word will have a different article depending on whether or not it starts with a vowel or consonant as well as some other, stranger criteria like if it starts with z or s+consonant. It's frustrating not to be able to put those in when I'm setting up lessons.

I always liked the spaced repitition [1] learning technique (which is used e.g. by Supermemo [2]). With 'like' I mean that I found it quite effective, more so than a fixed set of memory card levels (an approach which not only Parley, but also e.g. jMemorize [3] uses). The disadvantage of the latter approach is that cards that are leanred well are repeated too often, wasting time, or, if set up with longer repitition cycles, they will never be learned fully since they do not repeat often enough.

It would be wonderful, of spaced repition (or something akin, not limited to 7 levels) would become a possible practice mode.

In any case, thank you for this wonderful piece of software!
